14 июня в Луганской народной республики продолжались бои за гору Саур-Могила. Солдаты попали в плен после того, как силы народного ополчения ДНР И ЛНР разгромили 79-ую аэромобильную бригаду разведчиков из Николаева в районе приграничного города Снежное и стратегически важной горы. При себе бойцы имели автоматы АК 74, гранаты и ПКМ.
