Венгрия против отсрочки строительства "Южного потока"
Премьер-министр Венгрии Виктор Орбан во вторник выступил против отсрочки строительства газопровода "Южный поток", отметив, что реализация проекта обеспечит независимость энергоснабжения страны от транзита газа через Украину, передает агентство Франс Пресс.
"Венгрия будет строить "Южный поток", поскольку этот проект обеспечит безопасность нашего энергоснабжения. Мы не хотим оказаться в ситуации, когда поставки нашего газа будут зависеть от Украины", — заявил Орбан журналистам в Белграде после встречи со своим сербским коллегой Александром Вучичем.
"Мы поддерживаем Украину…, но мы несем ответственность перед нашими гражданами за их снабжение электроэнергией", — добавил венгерский премьер.
Проект газопровода "Южный поток" через акваторию Черного моря в страны Южной и Центральной Европы направлен на диверсификацию маршрутов экспорта российского газа в Европу. Для реализации сухопутной части проекта РФ подписала с Болгарией, Сербией, Венгрией и Словенией межправительственные соглашения. Строительство стартовало 7 декабря 2012 года в районе Анапы. Сдача в эксплуатацию первой нитки намечена на конец 2015 года. Всего предполагается построить четыре нитки длиной более 930 километров каждая.
Препятствия для реализации проекта возникли в Болгарии, где в начале июня премьер страны Пламен Орешарски распорядился приостановить работы для консультаций с Еврокомиссией. Такое заявление он сделал после встречи с делегацией американских сенаторов, в числе которых был республиканец Джон Маккейн. Американские сенаторы посетили Болгарию в рамках турне по странам Восточной Европы. Ранее ЕК оповестила Болгарию о несоблюдении норм ЕС при проведении конкурса на выбор строителя и оператора болгарского участка газопровода.

Hungary against postponing the construction of South stream.
"Hungary will build South stream, as this project will ensure the security of our energy supply. We do not want to be in a situation where the supply of our gas will depend on Ukraine", - stated the Prime Minister of Hungary, Viktor Orban.
Prime Minister Viktor Orban on Tuesday objected to the postponement of the construction of the gas pipeline "South stream", noting that the implementation of the project will ensure the energy independence of the country from transit of gas through Ukraine, reports the AFP news Agency.
"Hungary will build South stream, as this project will ensure the security of our energy supply. We do not want to be in a situation where the supply of our gas will depend on Ukraine," said Orban journalists in Belgrade after a meeting with his Serbian counterpart Alexander Survived.
"We support Ukraine..., but we have a responsibility to our citizens for their electricity supply," added the Hungarian Prime Minister.
The gas pipeline project South stream across the Black sea to southern and Central Europe is aimed at diversifying export routes for Russian gas to Europe. To implement the onshore part of the project of the Russian Federation signed with Bulgaria, Serbia, Hungary and Slovenia intergovernmental agreement. The construction started on 7 December 2012 in the area of Anapa. Commissioning of the first line is scheduled for the end of 2015. Only it is planned to build four strings longer than 930 kilometers each.
Obstacles to the implementation of the project started in Bulgaria, where in early June, Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski ordered to suspend operation for consultations with the European Commission. Such a statement he made after the meeting with delegation of us senators, including Republican John McCain. American senators visited Bulgaria in the framework of the trip to Eastern Europe. Previously the EC notified Bulgaria of non-compliance with the EU during the competition at the choice of the Builder and operator of the Bulgarian section of the pipeline.
