Променять домашнюю кухню на полевую дамы решили добровольно. Женщины даже прошли инструктаж у профессиональных офицеров. Днем на работе — в платье и на каблуках, вечером на службе — в камуфляже и с оружием.

Молодых девушек на дежурство не берут, а если дома ребенок, не подпускают и близко. У женщин отряда городской самообороны дети уже взрослые, заканчивают институты.
